email melt-down?
p2pnet.net News:- “Spamhaus is predicting e-mail meltdown, thanks to a new trojan trick that – instead of using the zombie PC as a mail server – the zombie box uses the infected customer’s ISP’s mail server,” says dslreports, going on:
“Because that spam in turn comes from a legit domain, it’s more difficult to block via blacklists.
" The e-mail infrastructure is beginning to fail,’ Says Steve Linford of Spamhaus to CNET. ‘You’ll see huge delays in e-mail and servers collapsing. It’s the beginning of the e-mail meltdown.’ Linford says they’ve already seen a ‘huge surge’ in spam because of the trick.”
“The sky is falling the sky is falling said Chicken little once again,” posts Shack.
“hehehe, my thoughts exactly!” – says Krispy. “I guess it must be a slow news day or something.”
“NOW is the time to find, convict and execute ALL SPAMMERS !!!” declares HangThemNow.
“Must be a republican – or a christian,” opines hpguru.
