Ex-Amazon music exec hits out

p2pnet view Music:- “A few of you have been a total pain in the ass. (You) should think about trying to make this business a better place once in awhile.

“Maybe listen to Elvis’ ‘If I Can Dream’ on your way into the office. The music business and the world could use more positive energy.”

Thus spaeketh Scott Ambrose Reilly (right) in a farewell email to colleagues and business associates, as quoted by CNet News.

He helped “oversee Amazon’s music division” for three years, but is now on his way to the company’s  Kindle unit, says the story, stating:

“As Amazon’s senior manager of digital music, Reilly oversaw content deals, operations and helped maintain the relationships with the labels.”

He’s now running business development for Kindle periodicals, says CNet News.

Neither Amazon nor Reilly were “immediately available” for comment, apparently.
