Being able to connect to a pc is also good news and you may be able to download shareware and freeware games whcih is good for a qucik laugh! plus, the fact Nintendo are still using cartidges?! that seems baby-ish too. UMDs are MUCH MUCH better! The last time this happened (the original Playstation release), Sony triumphed in a pretty spectacular fashion. There seem to be pros and cons to both platforms, and stating 'Just wait till DS released the killer software' is a bit naive. The N64 did have some very good software, but so did the Playstation. In the end, there is still a huge image problem with Nintendo in Europe. There are seen as a kids company, where as Sony are seen to be aimed at a more 'mature' market. I think the battle will be pretty evenly pitched. But I don't think anyone has a crystal ball to predict the outcome of this battle. It will be interesting to see Sony entering an arena traditionally held me Nintendo.
