Net Valentine’s Day suicide pact

p2pnet.net News:- A man described as a jobless drifter from Oregon is said to have planned a Valentine’s Day mass suicide which ultimately involved at least 32 people across the US and Canada.

Gerald Krein, “used an online message with the heading ‘Suicide party you want to join it’ to direct would-be suicides to a British web address, says the Sunday Times, continuing:

“His plot was partially foiled last week when he was arrested after a tip-off from a Canadian woman who had been following his scheme on the web.”

The woman, from the Toronto area and who’s now a “a key witness,” uncovered the pact, the Toronto Star has Klamath, Oregon, county sheriff Tim Evinger saying. She saw a message in a Yahoo chat room that had the words “Suicide Ideology” in the title.

“The woman, who Evinger said lives in York Region told detectives Tuesday she had planned to participate but had second thoughts when another chat room participant said she would kill herself after first killing her two children,” says the Star, adding:

“Gerald Krein, 26, was arrested Wednesday at his mother’s mobile home in Klamath Falls and faces charges of solicitation to commit murder, sheriff’s deputies said. Investigators are subpoenaing chat room records to try to contact people who may have planned to take part in the suicide.”

personally, i have no problem with people that want to kill them selfs… thats their choice… hey, life is hard, and its a way out…

but on a more reasonable note, what was this guy thinking… you can’t have someone kill someone else… especially not children >_>

Suicide is one thing… murder is another…

If I were to do something like that, it would be a ’sex party’!
Instead of killing yourself, lets all get off at the same time!
    Bring your Mum and Dad!

Yeah being a loser sucks. I guess he thought this would be a way to end his misery. Now the authorities are even taking this relief away from him.
If I were a loser, I’d probably want to buy the farm myself.
