Sendo X2: iPod challenger?
p2pnet.net News:- Music on the move was a theme at the 3GSM World Congress 2005 in Cannes, France, with ex-Microsoft partner Sendo launching its Sendo X2 Music Phone.
The X2 supports mp3 and offers instant access to music libraries via transfers from a PC over Bluetooth or USB.
Users can tune in direct from the phone, or through the included stereo headset.
Predictably, it’s also loaded with – DRM with, “advanced Open Mobile Alliance digital rights management”.
Features include:
- 1.3MP camera with 8x digital zoom and camcorder
- Approximately 32MB free memory expandable to over 1GB with miniSD cards
- Bluetooth and USB connectivity, including charging over USB from a compatible PC
- Large, bright 2.2” TFT, 65,536 colour display
- Speaker independent voice recognition
- HTML internet browsing capability plus WAP
- Triband GSM/GPRS
- Symbian OS / Series 60 and Java MIDP application support
