The Dam that’s Big, that is.

It was built by teams of industrious Canadians.

Beavers, that is.

And at 850-metres, it’s so huge it’s clearly visible from space.

The dam, on the southern edge of Wood Buffalo National Park in Northern Alberta, was probably started in the mid-1970s, says the Canadian Press, adding:

“The dam is now pegged as the largest known habitat of its kind on earth.”

Damn!
