Videogamers love P2P. True.

p2pnet view P2P | Games:- Video game makers are missing out by failing to properly acknowledge P2P, says a new poll.

Some 70% of P2P users own an Xbox, PS3 or Wii gaming console, says a survey conducted for Jun Group.

“An equally impressive 66% of respondents consider P2P to be an important part of their lives”, it says.

In addition, “54% of those polled say they would consider themselves a gamer”, says the company, adding:

“Overall, 25% spend an average of 5-10 hours per week playing video games, while 17% spend more than 10 hours per week at the controls.”

That’s because they need p2p to get their PAID FOR games to work!

    Ain’t THAT the truth.

I can’t count the times I had to get a crack for a BOUGHT AND PAID FOR GAME so it would work the
    way it was supposed to.

My personal favorite has always been the Egosoft X universe games. I stopped buying them when the Starforce
system was put in place on them. Now that they have ‘wised up’ and removed all CP from their line of games, I happily
bought the latest ‘Gold Edition’ X3 Reunion + X3 Terran Conflict. Worth every cent now that Starforce has been permanently
sent to the dark side. ;) ( I had to find a ‘crack’ in order to properly run X2, the Threat because of starforce, Yes I bought it. ).

The creators of the mechwarrior series have reased mechwarrior 4 using a custom torrent client. I understand that a proper torrent file with a self-extracting executable will be released fairly soon.
