Phishers use eBay script
p2pnet.net News:- Phishers are using an eBay redirection script to make fake emails look more real, says The Register.
“Three Register readers noticed the trick in scam emails they received,” it says, going on:.
“Alerted by The Register Email security firm MessageLabs confirmed that it has detected and blocked the same trick a number of times in the last two weeks.”
The Register told eBay about the script on February 23, and also made several phone calls, but, “we’re yet to hear back from the online auction house,” says John Leyden, adding:
“Meanwhile the exploit (details of which we are withholding) remains open to abuse.”
