AOL’s ‘new’ Netscape 8 beta
p2pnet.net News:- Canada’s Globe & Mail thinks the next shot in the revived browser wars was fired with the release of the beta version of the Netscape 8 browser.
The shot is, however, likely to be a blank given that the once-loved Netscape is hardly any kind of contender.
Be that as it may, it has more ways to make your browser secure than any other browser, claims AOL, also pointing out that the browser has, you guessed it, tabs.

There’s nothing new about tabbed browsing in Netscape — the browser has had tabs for at least a year now and possibly two. It is, after all, based on the same engine as the Mozilla browsers.
