Apple ‘fixes’ iPhone 4 Death Grip flaw

Appl iPhone fix p2pnet view Mobiles | P2P:- Apple boss Steve Jobs has saved his company more than a billion dollars.

He’s ‘fixed’ the iPhone 4 death grip problem without having to issue a recall.

“Apple fans must be ecstatic”, emails p2pnet regular Andrew AKA Comeoncomcast, linking to a Big Pond story.

In the wake of passionate Apple denials that the iPhone 4 even has an antenna failing that causes serious reception problems, the company is promising what amounts to an iPhone 4  condom  ‘free’ to users who disagree.

“The more than 3 million people who have bought the iPhone 4 and new buyers through September 30 will all be eligible”, says the story.

“In our reporting and a video … we made the point that the signal drop that iPhone 4 customers have observed when they hold their phones the “wrong” way is real — and we’ve called on Apple to do something about it”, said Consumer Reports.

The same day,  Apple forum moderators “started deleting threads” on the subject, said Neowin.

Now “The more than 3 million people who have bought the iPhone 4 and new buyers through September 30 will all be eligible” for iPhone 4 protective cases says Big Pond .

Not only but also, anyone who wasted the $US29 ($A32.80) on ‘Bumper’ cases will get their money back, it adds.

  4. Anonymous Says:

@Jay: I know exactly what you mean. I have never had a dropped call or signal loss on my iPhone 4. I seriously think people just hate on Apple for no reason. This site is definitely one of the most anti-apple sites that i’ve seen.

@ RW:’I seriously think people just hate on Apple for no reason’

‘Abhor’ would be a better word than ‘hate’. For me, anyway. And with plenty of reason, this being but one — http://www.p2pnet.net/story/24416

    Cheers!
