Sticking it to iPhone 4 users ;p
p2pnet view Mobiles:- It’s an ill-wind that doesn’t blow someone, somewhere, some good. And that’s exactly the case with Oszymon Weglarski and Jon Dorfman.
Apfel and its spinmeister, Steve Jobs, are busily trying to reassure users the serious iPhone 4 reception problem isn’t really serious and isn’t really a problem.
Weglarski and Dorfman “designed tiny bandages that fit perfectly around the edge of the iPhone, opened a store on the marketplace site Etsy, and named their new product Antenn-aid”, says the New York Times.”
Now they’re rushing to keep up with orders, it says.
“We put the site up late Friday night and we’re getting a new order every minute,” Dorfman is quoted as saying.
And “We haven’t done any official testing, but it does seem to improve the antenna problem”, says Weglarski. “You don’t drop as many bars as it’s really about separating metal from flesh.”
It’s also about separating Apple cultists from their cash.
They’ll buy anything.

Surely a better (less visible and cheaper) solution is to simply use a sliver of Sellotape! (Or its American equivalent)
