5 Disney movies for Sony PSP
p2pnet.net News:- Beginning this spring, Disney, aka Buena Vista Home Entertainme, is to release five titles on the Universal Media Disc (UMD) video format that plays on Sony’s PSP (PlayStation Portable) mobile game machine.
The list includes National Treasure, Pirates of the Net (just kidding ; ) that’s Pirate of the Carribean, The Curse of the Black Pearl, Reign of Fire, Kill Bill V1 and Hero.
They’ll be available in the US and Canada, says IGN Insider.

why not *gasp* use your already purchased dvd’s to encode the movie into a format the psp can read and burn your OWN copy..

well the device was advertized as being able to play divx..
obviously you have to be able to hold the files somewhere..
who said it had to be UMD?!

the PSP only plays its propriatary MD format! so basically, if you wanna buy movies for the PSP its $20 and you can only play it on that…
Although you might,,, might be able to use the USB on the PSP to load stuff onto a special MD… i dont know…
The PSP, in all its graphics glory… sucks…

Who said it had to be a UMD? The PSP also reads flash mem cards. You can fit two or more movies on one 1-gig chip.
