why not *gasp* use your already purchased dvd’s to encode the movie into a format the psp can read and burn your OWN copy..

oh my lord it’s so intelligent i’ll bet you there will be millions who just won’t do it!

  2. Reader's Write Says:

You are an idiot!!! Please tell us all how you are able to burn your own UMD. Think before you speak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  3. Reader's Write Says:

well the device was advertized as being able to play divx..

obviously you have to be able to hold the files somewhere..

who said it had to be UMD?!

  4. Reader's Write Says:

the PSP only plays its propriatary MD format! so basically, if you wanna buy movies for the PSP its $20 and you can only play it on that…
Although you might,,, might be able to use the USB on the PSP to load stuff onto a special MD… i dont know…

The PSP, in all its graphics glory… sucks…

  5. Reader's Write Says:

Who said it had to be a UMD? The PSP also reads flash mem cards. You can fit two or more movies on one 1-gig chip.

  6. Reader's Write Says:

Or wait for hardware mods and/or special open source softs :)
