Swedish Pirate Party to host WikiLeaks

The Iranian post s/he cites links to an Agence France-Presse item which states the Swedish Pirate Party will host several WikiLeaks servers.
“The Pirate Party will provide bandwidth and hosting to WikiLeaks free of charge as part of its political mission,” AFP quotes the party as saying.
“Our organisations share many values and I am looking forward to future ways we can help each other improve the world”, WikiLeaks leader Julian Assange (right) says.
Yesterday Wikileaks, which already has its servers in Sweden, said it would ask for a Swedish publishing certificate, p2pnet reported, going on:
“It provoked the wrath of the US military and government when it posted tens of thousands of classified US documents about the war in Afghanistan as a ‘war diary‘.
“The US justice department is still thinking about pressing charges but, says Radio Sweden, there’s no guarantee Swedish laws can protect the site.”
The Swedish Pirate Party also waded in to similarly help The Pirate Bay.
