‘Terrorist’ suspects ’sniffed’ online
p2pnet view Freedom | P2P:- One of the hottest news stories in Canada right now centres on four ‘terrorism’ suspects.
Ex-CSIS operator Michel Juneau-Katsuya (right) told the Ottawa Citizen alleged ringleader Hiva Alizadeh “used Ottawa Public Library computers to communicate with other members of the Ottawa-based cell”, says the Montreal Gazette.
How did CSIS know?
“Internet messages among the men triggered computer ’sniffers’ monitoring electronic signals at Ottawa’s Communication’s Security Establishment, the national cryptologic agency, which alerted the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)”, says the story.
It goes on to quote Juneau-Katsuya as stating, “They wanted to hit Parliament Hill and there was discussion of going against public transportation in Montreal because one of the guys had studied there and knew the system.
“One of the (CSE) filters picked up their chat. The way the system is established, we’ve got red flags everywhere and you can trip one of those flags anytime.
“If you’re travelling to Pakistan, that’s a red flag. If you’re going on certain web sites, that’s another red flag, and if you use in e-mail certain key words. When you’ve got enough red flags, then you become a person of interest. My understanding is they were caught from the Internet.”
This caused ripples of horror to spread around Canadian sites.
‘Red flags! Red Flags! They’re monotoring us! Theyre monitoring us!’
Of course they are.
As well as library systems, ‘they’ are also monitoring emails, phone (cell and landline) calls, web pages, blogs, IM, you name it.
What else is new?
No need to stay tuned.

They are monitoring us and we are monitoring them.
No big deal but they have to be careful because we are watching and listening too and all these will end up on wikileaks and cryptome.
There is already a lot of people to put in prison in both Canada and USA because of the unconstitutional, illegal renditions, tortures and assasinations. And trust me these criminals will go down one way or another because we are not ElQuada and we are not Talibans.
So if you are a member of the CIA Canadian secret service or member of one of these services so secret that nobody know about their existence watch out because we are watching you. Do whatever you have to do to defend the country but no crap like that. If anyone ask you to do shit like that refuse to do it. Nor USA or Canada are like north Korea or Iran and this kind of stuff shall not and will not be tolerated.
By the way the stuff such as the Assange scandal is doing nothing for national security and is just eroding further the credibility of the US federal government. Moreover it is divisive at a time when more than ever we need to stick together.
Monitor this CIAA and put that in your pipe!

Sounds unintentional.
It’s all a misunderstanding.

Data mining methods are far from perfect but can we believe this?
