p2pnet.net OT News:- The Jurassic Park movie series was all about scientists cloning dinosaurs from ancient genetic material. And the villain in the first film was no less than T. Rex, slavering jaws and all.

Now scientists have found what they hope is genetic material — in the shape of (Yep) Tyrannosaurus Rex blood vessels.

"We’re doing a lot of stuff in the lab right now that looks promising," lead researcher Mary Higby Schweitzer of North Carolina State University CTV quotes her as saying , hastening to add that she, "cautioned against jumping to conclusions".

The discovery doesn’t mean, "we are cloning dinosaurs in our lab and we probably will not," she said reassuringly.

That’s a relief ; )
