Microsoft’s new ID system
p2pnet.net News:- Microsoft is planning to make Windows and Internet Explorer more secure by including software to give people more control over personal information, says the BBC.
"Info cards" will apparently, “help people manage personal details on their PCs to make online services safer, said Microsoft”.
Is this a kind of unofficial confirmation from Bill and the Boyz that Windows and IE are inherently insecure as they stand?
Don’t bother to answer.
"The service, called Info-cards, would reside on the user’s PC and aggregate personal information like names, credit card numbers and mailing addresses, and will allow people to use them when they shop or conduct business online, Microsoft executives said in a Wall Street Journal report," states internetnews.com.
It goes on, "According to Microsoft officials in the report, some of them named and others anonymous, the technology will be built using open technology protocols to allow the Info-card service to run in a non-Windows environment, like Linux, as well as interoperate with federated identity management software like those created through the Liberty Alliance."

<——Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with the software——>
