‘Titanic’ actress dies, age 100
p2pnet view Movies:- Gloria Stuart who, at the age of 87 become the oldest Academy Award acting nominee for her role as the elderly survivor of ‘Titanic’, has died.
She was 100 years old.
“Stuart died from respiratory failure in her Los Angeles home”, says Hollywood Today, adding:
“The actress was diagnosed with lung cancer five years ago. She also fought and beat breast cancer approximately 20 years ago.
“In her prime, Stuart starred in films such as ‘The Invisible Man,’ and Busby Berkeley’s ‘Gold Diggers of 1935.’ She retired during the mid-1940s and returned to acting during the 1970s.”
