Continued ‘reporting’ (and in the context of p2pnet i use the term VERY loosely) on Apple, positive or negative, is fuel to the same fire: Lets all hear about, adore and watch Apple’s every single move. Even if your adoration is to the effect of loathing them.

It’s still all: “Apple, Apple, Apple”, which makes me ask – “Why is everyone talking Apple? I better check these guys out.”

Their monopoly on online music purchases, and near-monopoly in the DMP market will ensure that no-one jumps Apple’s ship.

In spite of all this, indeed, people will continue to pick-up and use Apple hardware (and, inherently, their software) because it works.

And that simple fact is enough to keep people excited. I’d prefer to be sued than try and use a Windows box to write this comment.
