Xvid has always been more universal with better quality, so long as you used avisynth.

Too many people know nothing about avisynth and it's powerful array of filters which best quicktime pro and possibly even final cut pro.  IF theyre going to compete with the pirate sect which theyve spent years hardening against them they'll have to hire some of their encoders, otherwise i can imagine the terrible failure their big blocky wmv files will be.  </description>
