World’s second cloned horse
p2pnet.net OT News:- Castrated horse becomes dad
That’s the headline from a News24, South Africa, post on an announcement from ‘gene scientists’ who say they’ve cloned the world’s second horse clone – “an animal that they hope will emulate the champion performance of his castrated father”.
The foal, Pieraz-Cryozootech-Stallion, is the clone of 1994 and 1996 world endurance champion Pieraz, owned by US horsewoman Valerie Kanavy, says the story.
"He was produced by taking samples from international endurance champion Pieraz, a gelding, and it is hoped the new foal will eventually become a valuable breeding stallion," says Horse & Hound.
"It is hoped that Pieraz II, as he is affectionately known, will be mature enough to breed in around two years time."
Makes you cringe, don’t it?
Other ‘gene scientists’ won’t be able to resist trying it out on humans, if they haven’t done so already.
This mightn’t be too bad were it not for the fact the lunatics are running the asylum.

Everyone will soon clone themselves once or twice, store the specimens in deep freeze, and keep for a lifetime of spare parts.
Kind of like what you do when you have a very old car. You have one to drive, and you keep a matching car strictly for parts
