This story is an outright, deliberate attack on enterprise who's success would threaten the viability of P2Pnets business model. It's not the first attack on these companies nor will it be the last.

Counterfeiting in all forms is on a world wide rampage due to high end physical technologies now available to the masses at relatively little cost. Even American currency is under siege. The bandits have gotten so far ahead ($$$) that said gains are used to employ defense. Everything from generous grants, gifts, and incentives to haters and even nuclear bombs have been financed by the counterfeiters' gains.

Many of these companies woes have been manufactured and designed by beneficiaries of such financing. P2Pnet.net is a direct profiteer of the counterfeiting game. It is no wonder that a one sided POS story like this appears here. There are other sides.

IE... A Judge had this to say about-

Felten (with help from the Electronic Frontier Foundation) sued the groups, requesting a declaratory judgement ruling that their publication of the paper would be legal. The case was dismissed for a lack of standing with the judge noting that:

"The irony is that the defendants having said we're not going to sue you, the plaintiffs decided apparently to catalyze this action by bringing a suit themselves...
The plaintiffs liken themselves to modern Galileos persecuted by authorities. I fear that a more apt analogy would be to modern day Don Quixotes feeling threatened by windmills which they perceive as giants. There is no real controversy here."[1]

Unfortunately, there is not enough time in my personal life to tear down the collective of the miscreant efforts to torpedo this enterprise and the lopsided reporting of them in this POS story.

At least the judge gets it.

Too bad the cost of justice is so high while the cost of counterfeiting is so low.

But it is certainly great for P2PNET.NET

The tone of all the diatribes against the article looks very much like an effort to create a faux grass roots attempt to discredit it to me and similarities in the posts look like they were all created by just one or two people. Now who would want to destroy an expose that puts a shady companies entire linen closet of dirty laundry out on display? You have one guess and a smack upside the head if you get it wrong.

After reading that the story was lopsided, I re-read it and found that all the links that worked (a few didn't) were to SunnComm press releases and sec filings. So how could quoting from their own sources be lopsided.

I also noticed that none of those who claim it to be lopsided have made any attempt to say what was wrong.

This piece is designed to steal the thunder of Howard Stern promoting SCMI's MediaMax, which is rapidly gaining traction in the market. The author of this cut and paste job may slow things down for a brief time, but MediaMax is destined to succeed in the market place. Why? Because only MediaMax has the playability and what consumers, labels and artists want. Less piracy and more for the consumer.

Whomever is shorting SCMI shares, and people associated with MVSN are scared right now. BMG is being very aggressive about adopting MediaMax because it does reduce piracy and is seen as a value added enhancement to compact disc buyers.

Howard Stern is kicking off the process of making MediaMax a popular brand. Stay tuned for the other side of the story.

Shorts, better COVER your tails soon. The cat will be out of the sack soon.

Tell us something we don't already know!
The "Sunncomm Story" doesn't show me deception and fraud, it shows me DETERMINATION to make something BIG out of very little.
Not every company is stoked with $ like MVSN

Yes, you would say that since you are most likely either short SCMI or MMXT shares or stand to lose money on MVSN. That was a completely lopsided pos story.

Have you clowns looked to see how many MediaMax enhanced CD's are coming out? That was one of the most lopsided, crappy hatchet jobs I've read in a while. MVSN is getting beaten up by Sunncomm right now. It seems that labels, artists and consumers embrace Mediamax.
