Me too EE,they accuse us of being thieves yet i have shelves of DVDS that say i’m not!
I stopped watchin TV in “03″ when i discovered BT experimental purely by accident whilst trying to find a way to see BSG which had just been released in the U.S,i never looked back! I am so glad i gave up the Propoganda box,it openned my eyes to the real word we live in!
It ain’t pretty but we can’t change it if we don’t understand that A GAME is being played.!

Personally, I just stopped spending money at companies that piss me off. That includes most of the music industry, movie industry, and some of the software/hardware industry. If you don’t agree with their business tactics, don’t do business with them.

The idea behind OP is pay if you like it. OP, as i see it so far, does not encourages ONLY free downloading; if a person likes what he gets he should buy it / donate. THAT IS FREEDOM.

If i like a movie and i want to see it at home with my friends, i want it ! After that i could see it at the cinema as well, just because it like it so much. Or buy it just to have it in my collection. This is just an example.

Performing DDoS is just to attrack attention of the companies that deny us of such things. Even worse they take actions to stop this, and stop OP. Why ? because they are afraid of losing their money. They do not see that making it free could get more money. Of course that won’t happen in the first years of this policy, but as people get used with this they will pay for their pleasure, not being forced by media companies.

What i am afraid of ? I am afraid of my kids growing with censorship, of media companies charging like hell for a movie that i’ll just see 2-3 times, of people not having money for buying and being deprived of good stuff in a world that is more and more tech (and media) dependent.

skim reading thru this article and it just dawned on me that these dude’s are just like me and you, in the fight for change and freedom from corporate rule… even tho instead of having blogs/sites/forums open for debate, these dudes/dudettes are putting their ideas down to each other and following them thru… scary…

hey, bit off topic, but i read somewhere a while back that the entertainment industries where hidding money in swiss bank accounts, while the government where looking for it so it can be taxed… wtf happened to that… did they get a gov pardon!?!…

even tho the first sentence of the first paragraph is obivious on it, but from what i hav read on most forums/blogs/sites about them, doesnt protray them in this light… i personally never knew much about them until they started the OP thing… keep it up guys… make these corps suffer for their ignorance towards the people that they should have bin on their knees to in the first place..
