I just watched this a couple days ago, on a whim. I was expecting another lame kiddie-flick with no redeeming character, that you could laugh at only in terms of how painfully HORRIBLE it was. And no I DID NOT pay for it, why pay for something that is going to suck?

Boy was I surprised! I enjoyed the it soooo much that I looked up the movie listings to see how much it would cost to catch it on The Big Screen. It would cost $20...that is enough to feed me for a week. So I did not see it in the theater. $10 I could have done, maybe $15 if I skipped a couple meals, but $20 means NOT EATING for days...

The moral of our story: A good movie lost a customer/pirate who WANTED TO PAY FOR IT simply because the mafiAA execs decided to price it out of any reasonable range. In this day and age of republican economic malfeasance, who the FUCK can afford TWENTY BUCKS to see a movie?!

" A couple of us Dads took our daughters to see it opening weekend. Very funny, everyone enjoyed it. "

Glad you could afford enjoy it.

Most people in this economy prefer to spend it on food and utilities.

Of course the cartels will spin this as the evil 'pirates' fault, when the reality is so much more simple.

Fewer and fewer people can afford the excess cash for 'entertainment'.

“3D technology is not a driver of a film’s success, says BTIG. Rather, it’s “all about the content”.

The “dramatic rise in 3D screens has no correlation to a film’s box office performance” and, “3D pricing needs to come down, especially on animated/family friendly titles.”

So they're saying that a movie actually has to have good content and not just a cheap gimmick to be successful? Wow, nobody could have predicted that...
