1. As more people get their fill from the content out there, the traffic will slow down. For example, if I my total requirement is 100 GB worth choice music, then after that, it would be a few GB per quarter since there would not be much out there that would be new. I remember, we used to do video rental run every two days in late 80s. Now it is like once a month.

2. ISPs can request their clients to use their P2P in offpeak hours. If 70% of their customer go by that route, that could reduce the traffic.

3. ISPs can ask the P2P software vendors to adjust the rate between offpeak hours and may even pay a few bucks to do so.</description>
