Wanted: MashBoxx testers
p2pnet.net News:- MashBoxx is looking for people to run beta tests on its new p2p file application and, “Since it went up last night, we’re getting 20 to 30 requests an hour,” Wayne Rosso tells p2pnet.
But Rosso, the ex-Grokster and Blubster president who’s now running things at MashBoxx, says the beta isn’t actually online yet.
“We’re just signing people up to become beta testers and we’ll send them a link to download the application when it’s available.”
When will that be?
“Right now we’re basically waiting for the content owners to load their content into the system,” says Rosso.
MashBoxx uses Napster creator Shawn Fanning’s Snocap p2p monetization app, a ‘fingerprint’ system based on Holland’s Royal Philips Electronics technology.

Hmmm so it’s going to chew up your bandwith, your cpu time, and could provide them with all kinds of interesting info about you and your pc, which they could sell, but you have to pay for the music… Riiiiiiight.
What a ripoff.
