Apple and Intel?
p2pnet.net News :- Apple could be looking to Chipzilla for future Mac products, says a report.
“Apple has tentatively agreed to use Intel chips, which power a majority of the world’s PCs,” says PC Pro, quoting the Wall Street Journal.
Apple presently use Power PC processors from IBM and Motorola but, “switching to Intel would ensure that it could keep pace with the performance of Windows-based machines,” says the story.
However, “Intel declined to comment, while Apple said the news should be placed ‘in the category of rumour and speculation’,” adds PC World.
