He released information about crimes committed that should never has been classified!

Manning is an hero who show a lot of courage exposing information that belong rightly to the US citizen.

Those who disagree can leave for north korea a more suitable place for them because we are the land of the free

Their claim that Manning put the life of informants in danger is BOWLSHIT!

They have better to release manning right now and stop bugging wikileaks and Assange with their CIA sluts operated rap BS before we get a massive cow!

If they don’t want anyone to leak any information they have better to walk strait and not piss off any member of the army or the public.

No, Bush didn’t invent the penalty or the charge of treason either.
But, he did ram through the 2 Patriot Acts which widened the scope of things like “treason”, “terrorism”, and “enemy of state” themselves, and also removed many constitutional rights and defense processes from the equation. This is what I believe the first commenter was referring to.

I do find it “telling” that Manning’s trial is being brought to reality so quickly, while no actual trial has yet to materialize for any of the supposed “911 terrorists” being held.

Actually, Bush did not come up with death penalty for treason. That has been around since the inception of America. Especially for the military. And every person in the military is aware of the consequences. Being in the military myself and seeing what he did, Manning deserves to die. But now days that will probably not happen.
