Rebecca Black is awesome. She did something fun, and even though it turned out to be painful to watch and listen to, and people are treating her like jerks over it, she got a nice consolation prize. According to the always reliable Wikipedia, it is estimated that she made well over a million from Itunes sales alone, not to mention all the revenue from Youtube’s revenue sharing program.

I imagine her family is just happy to have gotten the $2,000 back that they were ripped off from the company that shot the video and provided the song. No way is that song worth $2, not to mention $2,000.
