Google shuts YouTube doors

p2pnet view P2P | Advertising:- Giant online advertising and data mining company Google has finally gone and done it.

It’s restricted access to its YouTube.

“You will no longer be able to sign in to YouTube without a Google account”, it says.

“If you do not want to link this YouTube account, you can sign out here.”

Why?

“Improved security. Better security reduces the chance of account theft.”

Oh. OK, then.

Stay tuned.

(Cheers, Em)

Meh, it’s probably so they only have to manage and support one login system. If you are that concerned, make a gmail account with all fake info and continue as usual.

This is kinda old news. It happened to me a few weeks ago. But I don’t have any real
info to identify me, and I don’t use gmail and rarely use youtibe and I don’t post
videos there anyway or log into it.

After reading this, I went to gmail. You can delete your “buzz” account/profile (whatever that is).
I never made one, but gmail made one for me. I deleted it.
