Anonymous Operation Italy

p2pnet view P2P | Freedom:- Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni (English: Authority for Communications Guarantees, mainly known with the acronym Agcom) is Italy’s regulator and competition authority for the communication industries, says the Wikipedia, going on:

“The 8 members of Agcom board are elected by the Parliament (4 by the Senate, 4 by the Chamber of Deputies) and consequently the Parliament establish its powers and define its statutes.”

It’s responsible for the supervision of audiovisual media services: TV, radio, Internet, communications, says Anonymous in a new campaign, continuing >>>

That entity in reality, however, plays a role in censorship and repression, indirectly controlled by the lobby of the audiovisual market, which are unable to enforce the copyright by technological methods, attempting to impose rules against repressive providers.

The Pirate Bay  – the case speaks for itself: almost all Italian providers are prohibited by filtering the DNS and the access to this website, accused of  violating copyright law, ignoring the fact that many circuits are running P2P content legally ( Just think of GNU / Linux and documentation licensed under Creative Commons).

The recent Decree Romans implementation gives AGCOM immense power, such as the ability to monitor, filter, censor and even disconnect anyone who violates copyright laws.

All this, in spite of the right to privacy and free use of bandwidth legally purchased by the provider.

Anonymous says enough of this dictatorship. Anonymous says enough with this censorious climate and to the repressive methods. Anonymous says enough to the systematic violation of privacy for profit. Anonymous says enough power to the lobby of cinema and TV, and for their economic interests that undermine the rights of users.

Anonymous  has decided not to stand still and not make decisions before the  negative actions of AGCOM.Molti you ask the reasons, here they are to  you:
