Is an American ‘Day of Rage’ nigh?

p2pnet view P2P | Freedom:- Black Gold kingdom Saudi Arabia is today experiencing the beginnings of what could escalate to a complete overthrow of the current rulers, at worst, or a new kind of monarchy similar to Britain’s, at best.

Could the United States of America, one of the principal countries pouring money into Saudi coffers and, thus, helping to keep its barbaric customs alive, suffer another (similar) clash of The People vs The Corporations (read government)?

“Following in the footsteps of revolutions taking place across North Africa, the Middle East, and Near East; it appears that a ‘Day of Rage’ is coming to the United States”, says WL Central, going on >>>

Or so it seems, according to a new profile created on Twitter, @USDayofRage

In what appears to be the beginning effort of a group of activists, two profiles: an active one on Twitter, @USDayofRage, and one parked and inactive on Facebook, Usday of rage [sic], appear to

Beyond Political Parties

The twitter profile for @USDayofRage states, “The US gov’t & major political parties corrupt the principles of good governance & pervert the public interest. They don’t represent us. Does it make you angry?”

Call To Action: Hash-Tag List of Grievances

The active profile on Twitter has a call to action for citizens to lists their grievances by using the twitter hash-tag #USDOR.

Hash-Tag Revolutionary Debates

The hash-tag #USDOR lists US torture, outdated institutional models and the need for institutional reform for the 21st century; propaganda and a lack of freedom of the press; surveillance and privacy protection; political and corporate corruption and the growth of the military industrial complex as major grievances. More are listed in the below chirpstory: As reported today in the Jordan Times: “Hashtag Debates are a continuation of similar online dialogues about democracy and political reforms, which have been taking place on Twitter and other social networking websites, the main tool used to mobilise the recent popular revolutions and protests in the Arab street.”

So, could it happen?

The Middle East isn’t North America. But still …

Stay tuned.

The answer is no. That would be un-american and make you a terrorist. Thus it would be open season to shoot mass people terrorism on site.

US would be worse than the arab states.

  2. Anonymous Says:

    More tea partiers. Yay.

“The answer is no. That would be un-american and make you a terrorist.”

Un-american the war of independence? I think you should mover to north Korea because obviously you lost track about what America is all about.

Worst than the arab states? hum? I think that you are the terrorist. And guess what? we are not afraid!

  4. Devil's Advocate Says:

“…obviously you lost track about what America is all about.”

I think it’s safe to say that AMERICA lost track a while back of what America’s all about.

  5. Anonymous Says:

Maybe a name change to “Americorp” might be appropriate.

    I better patent that quick!lol

    @ the 3rd RW,

I think you better stop watching the Hollywood propaganda films and start living in the present and in reality.

Let us know when you have achieved this, or reached the age of puberty.

Go back to sleep RW5…there is nothing to see here, move along.

  8. EE Says:

Looks like someone is looking for lulz….. but seriously, we can have a “day of rage” whenever we want it, protests happen every day and for every conceivable reason. Skinheads march to protest Jews. Jews march to protest skinheads. Gays march to celebrate/protest whatever it is they are currently upset about. Tea party people rally to turn the government back over to the people who got us into trouble in the first place and those asshats at that westboro church protest that “the end is nigh” at military funerals.

Want to rage? Come visit America and pick up a sign and find some public land. No one will stop you. Hell, if you bring enough people/money someone will probably set up a “rage tourism” industry to show you around.

The only day of rage you’ll see is if MTV gets taken off the air.

American kids are dumb little spoiled pussies and couldn’t think their way out of a paper bag. There are exceptions, but really western kids these days can barely form a cogent sentence. The only way they protest is if the folks on MTV tell them it’s hip and cool.

  10. Anonymous Says:

    MTV?
    Showing your age?
    Kids don’t watch MTV anymore.
Charlie Sheen needs to say it on twitter these days.

  11. Doctor Gonzo Says:

    Dear America,

Your in big trouble, and you don’t see it for what it truly is. Maybe when there is no food on the shelves, or gas in your tanks you’ll do something to change your leadership fundamentals. A Day of Rage won’t be enough. We need as many days of rage as it takes to bring the Government to it’s knees, then tag and bag the lot. Honor your Constitutional obligation to revolt. Time to water the Tree Americans.

    WATER THE TREE

  12. EE Says:

    @Doctor Gonzo

    LLLOOOOLLLLL

We are the third largest oil producing nation on the earth and agricultural products (food) are some of our biggest exports. We have so much food we make fuel out of it to run our automobiles. Anyway, I now excuse myself from this thread.

Good luck with your trolling Dr muppet.

  13. Anonymous Says:

    @ EE
The cost of food is high and climbing higher this year. The riots breaking out in Arab states has a lot to do with the cost of food. In both Canada and the U.S. people are upset due to the climbing cost of food and the bad economy.

Using farm land and crops to produce oil appears to have no impact to you. Nor do you seem to realize that families in your own back yard can’t afford to eat due to crop lands being used for oil. This year barley crops took a beating. We normally export barley but this year we are not. While our Beer and bread prices will increase due to this (and due to crop lands growing for the oil industry instead of the food industry) you will be affected, yet you are too naive to see this while you thump your chest bellowing how great you are, as a kid down the street goes hungry. Kids where we normally export to are paying even more and going without more.

Normally the people who yell “troll” are the ones who least understand things and have the least grasp on what is going on, which is you.

As for a “day of rage”, the US will let it go. If it lasts for more than 2 days you will see the Americans being more savage than the Arabs. They can’t show that their form of corporate democratic greed is a failure.

Meanwhile as you thump your chest and tell us how the US is a major oil producer, the fact of the matter is they are not that major when their economy will implode if Libya went the way of Venezuela.

In your stupidity and chest thumping you claim there is so much food that it’s not needed and the farmland is used for oil production. All it takes is a drought or a freeze and you will see what happens. Also I do believe you have confused crops used for oil production and food consumption.

I think it’s best that you open your eyes to reality and the term “self sustaining” before chest thumping again. The US is far from being self sustaining in anything except for ignorance & arrogance (as we have just seen).

  14. EE Says:

    @RW

Let me be clear…. I merely stated that your goal of exporting revolt to the United States was ill conceived and unrealistic. We already have (constant) political unrest of one sort or another, and we deal with it through protest, elections, recalls, and sometimes impeachment.

I said nothing of my knowledge, opinions or beliefs regarding homelessness, hunger, sustainability, or the situation in the middle east. I am sorry you do not like the facts, but that is what I presented. If someone brought inappropriate pathos, a fundamental lack of knowledge concerning how the US operates (ignorance), and an unwarranted sense of moral superiority (arrogance) to this conversation, it wasn’t me.

“I think it’s safe to say that AMERICA lost track a while back of what America’s all about.”

    Not anymore.

America is well awake, about to take it’s government back from the jaw of the corporations and restore the constitution.

Soon you will see the republican, democrat and independent voters rally together and save the country from the danger of corporatism.

“I think you better stop watching the Hollywood propaganda films and start living in the present and in reality.

Let us know when you have achieved this, or reached the age of puberty.”

This is the proof that you don’t have any argument against the 3rd RW posting because you are conducting a personal attack and your attack does not make sense.

I don’t see why this post has anything to do with “”Hollywood Propaganda”" or puberty. You are just making non-sense noise just like “Fuck news.”
