RealNetworks joins the throng
RealNetworks is the latest company to join the madding crowd with an online music store.
Built into RealPlayer 10, it offers "unlimited access to over 450,000 songs" at the usual 99 cents a pop. It’ll also let users make mixes at 79 cents a track.
"RealRhapsody brings together a huge legal collection of digital music in the world, an incredible internet radio experience, and flexible CD burning – all in one easy-to-use service," rhapsodizes RealNetworks here.
It’s offering the first song for 10 cents via a click-point which, on its way to an RN connection speed-up offer, makes you download RealPlayer10Beta, of you’re not real careful.
