China’s 1st e-signature contract

p2pnet.net News:- China’s first e-signature contracted was ‘signed’ yesterday signed by Beijing Zhongjiao Anda Transportation Technology Company and US-based Tuanzhi Software Company.

“Different from a traditional contract signing ceremony which involves paper contracts, general managers of the two companies each used a laptop computer and an special disk to sign the contract,” says ChinaTechNews.

“After the password was placed in the system and the ‘Seal Button’ clicked, the contract was chopped with each party’s respective seals.”

E-signature system contracts can’t be altered after they’re signed, so they’re “deemed to be much safer than traditional contracts,” adds the story.
