“Idag utförde svenska antipirater en husrannsakan mot The Pirate Bay och beslagtog servrarna som driver sajten,” says the post in Swedish. “Det här innebär troligtvis slutet för The Pirate Bay, och vi som har drivit sajten ber om ursäkt för alla som har förlorat inkomster på grund av vår verksamhet.”
Antipiratbyrån is the MPAA’s clone in Sweden.
It planted evidence in an earlier bid to get to The Pirate Bay so on that basis, anything is possible.
BUT – the take-down is a PB spoof, we’ve just been told. And a post below says Slyck has words on the subject : )

Yea, this is just a Joke… There is no way they would go out like this! XD

On another note, raids like that, are in everyway I can see, very illegal… and should be due to the fact that this isn’t like a drug raid… and those are done by police… if anyone is going to raid someone… it has to be the government… and they have to have a better cause than to get the servers they were running a LINK swaping website off of… =P
Thats all bittorrent sites are… places where people trade links… there is no copywritted data on any of them… And most of the sites are not staffed, so there isn’t anyway to monitor whats going on in them…
Its just soo ridiculious that anyone would think to hold anything against bittorrent sites…
Its like saying that its illegal to tell people where a pile of free CDs are on a map…XD

funny thing,two or 3 days ago i couldnt get on the pirates bay url..
but I found the pirates bay using a different url I got on insted..
