Top 10 US Wi-Fi cities
p2pnet.net News:- Seattle and San Francisco are America’s top Wi-Fi cities.
So says the new Intel survey, quoted by Reuters.
Also in the top 10 are Austin, Texas; Portland, Oregon; Toledo, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; Denver, Colorada; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; Minneapolis, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; and Orange County, California.
“Santa Clara-based Intel ranked cities based on the number of commercial or free ‘Wi-Fi’ points from January to April 15 in the 100 largest urban regions in the United States,” says the Associated Press, adding:
“Low-ranking regions included Jersey City, N.J.; Fort Wayne, Ind.; Allentown, Pa.; Youngstown, Ohio; Bakersfield, Calif.; and McAllen, Texas.”
