The original Dr Who Dalek has been kidnapped and the fiends who are holding him (her? it?) have taken of one of his (her? its?) arms.

Those among you with keen vision will be able to spot the missing member (it looks like a toilet plunger) in the pic on the right.

A ransom signed by the Guardians of the Planet Earth said, “For the safety of the human race we have disarmed and removed its destructive mechanism,” according to the BBC.

The Dalek was on tour and had been stored in the Wookey Hole Caves near Wells in Somerset, England,

“It is believed to be worth thousands of pounds, and Wookey Hole’s owners have offered a £500 reward for the model’s return,” says the Beeb, adding:.

“Former Dr Who actor Colin Baker has been in touch with staff at the attraction, and may be asked to send a message to the kidnappers.”
