Dan Glickman, master of CYA
p2pnet.net News:- Yesterday Glickman, the self-styled funny man who runs the movie studio cartel’s MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), was busily prepping the media for the failure of the cartel in the Grokster v MGM decision.
Internetnews.com, with a story on the same occasion, has him saying, "I’m optimistic that this is going to turn out well for us …
“… but if it doesn’t then we have a whole host of other strategies to protect out interests.”
Glickman also praised the entertainment industry for embracing digital media technology, at the same time claiming it’s being threatened by what internetnews.com describes as “the P2Ps”.
"Unfazed by the rule of law or respect for the property rights of others, these companies exploit content and facilitate infringement on a massive global scale," said Glickman.
That Dan, he sure is a case : )
