Nvidia GeForce 7 looms
p2pnet.net News:- Taiwan graphics-card makers Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology, Micro-Star International (MSI) and Albatron say they`ll begin volume shipments of their Nvidia GeForce 7 this month, or the beginning of July.
The SLI-ready PCI Express (PCIe) x16 graphics cards are based on the new NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX graphics processor unit (GPU), previously called the G70, says DigiTimes.
It is known that the company is readying its code-named NV47 visual processing unit, a massively revamped GeForce 6 architecture with 24 pixel pipelines, said TechSpot in January.
Expected sometime in spring 2005, NV47 is (of course) still GeForce 6 architecture. How NV47 will compare with ATI`s R520 product is currently unknown.”
