Who gives a shit who makes the program, It’s still a pretty cool deal, personally, I like to see what my neighbourhood looks like from above. I’ve used Nasa World Wind for a while now, but it doesn’t get close enough. All in all, this thing’s pretty neat-o.

Google is too big for its britches you must admit that.

The only good thing that could come from Google now is that they get in to a serious corporate war with M$ and they both loose the billions they have fleeced from consumers that use crapware like google toolbar.
You may be happy with google’s adware, spyware, and crapware but I’m not.

Google toolbar does have an *optional* feature which could be considered spyware. I use it with that option disabled. And I’ve never seen an ad from it.

True Gmail does has context sensitive adds. Which is considered by some to be spyware. (not me). I don’t mind if computer programs read my mail to scan for viruses or display context sensitive adds. To me it’s the same thing.

As far as the info on the page being crap. The program google earth is an EXE not a web app. I can understand not wanting to install a beta app from a company you don’t trust but calling it crap without even trying it seems to show a prejudice on your part.

gmail – spy-ads according to words in email messages. totally spy-infested.

google shares $300? they get their money from spyware, adware and spy-ads.

Thats a very uneducated response. Has Google ever put spyware or adware in their products, did you even read their web page. If you don’t like the service, don’t use it, but some people might actually find it interesting.

i got that in a newsletter today. i looked at it but i’m unimpressed. and it probably has spyware and adware in the free version.
