The corporations are just crapping in their own hat, what they hope will happen will back fire on them. This is just like the 60’s and 70’s when the goverment and news media were feeding use all kinds of garbage about the vietnam war and the youth finally got a gut full of it and caused so much havic and pain in this country that the goverment gave up and started pulling our forces. All the B/S that the Riaa and Movie industry has caused will be remembered by this generation which someday will grow up to be voters and later take their places in goverment and industry. Corporate America has set themselve up for a casteration. The current crop corporate whores in washington are reaching ages where we will not have to put up with their crap much longer.

The current copyright laws a pure sewage, the copyright holder as it stands now contribute nothing to the common good of this country, which in turn make them a parasite!

But also teach children:

a. How to think critically and the use of logic.
b. The difference between facts and propaganda.
c. That propaganda has one purpose: So the above is not learned.

if you have kids who are in grades where thses anti piracy classes will occur (4th grade i beleive) give your kids information to fight the bsa’s statistics and make the people who give theses discussions uncomfertable and confused, we must tell are children the truth so they can spot the lies…

First let me say that I agree with the essence of this article and that parents should object to this specific type of brainwashing brainwashing, the purchased type. Brainwashing is the antithesis of freedom.

The battle is, however, difficult because brainwashing has always ocurred at school at all levels, at least in all countries I know of.

Brainwashing is ocurring daily through the press and through advertisements. In essence we are all so brainwashed that we no longer see it happening. I has become part of our nature, to be brainwashed. We have been mentally stunted.

Yesterday’s news (Washington Post July-4-2005) was that the lobbyists will spend 100 million dollars to influence the selection and approval of a new Supreme Cort judge to replace the retiring O’Conner. Purchased influence is a form of brainwashing, the purchased kind, the worst kind. And the owners of the government, the people, the “we the people” in the American Constitution are so brainwashed that they see no harm in the use of money to get a Supreme Court judge selected.

It is time to fight all types of brainwashing. The fight against copyright brainwashing is a good start. As said earlier, brainwashing is the antithesis of freedom, so freedom and brainwashing cannot coexist.
