look- this is a big deal because it will most likely get people who haven’t tried the weed software to download and install it.. IF all goes according to plan. That means more people will be open to weeds P2P capabilities, will get excited about the program and spread the word AND THEN continue to try new weed files. So what you say? Well weed is a level playing field within the music industry. It doesn’t matter if you are big or small weed works just the same for you. It’s a way for all artists to get paid for their music and to also utilize the power of a free sample. Thats what radio is after all, a big free sample machine, and radio is what sells music.

That being said do I really think it’s going to work? Uhmmm- not so sure on that one. It’s still tough to compete with free and thats what p2p offers. However if they are going after the ITunes market they might have a good chance.

that’s hilarious, a competing model for distribution has now been harnessed by the recording industry, with this adoption they have now switched the burden of bandwidth (distribution, delivery) to the consumer, WOW, smart but slimey tactic….they’re really trying to make gold from lead on this one…
