I love bitlord, I get this from PeerGuardian2 - there’s no explanation or further info from peerguardian. Perhaps they’re just in competition. I know they hark on about one other alternative BT client that they highly recommend.

Then you must have done something wrong because Biltlord works just fine!!
Better then ABC when your computer crashes your downloads are gone.
There is nothing wrong with it and when you have a bad expierence with this client you can’t just say it sucks.
When I have to make a list of all bad expierences I had with software I can throw away my computer.
Sometimes I even hate Windows but I still use it.

Do you always believe everything on the net?
I have picked it up myself and had no problems downloading it, and it works fine.
Your security settings maybe a bit to strickt and yes I use peerguardian to.
You better worry about Time Warner and other media giants who try to harvest evidence from your computer to sqeeze the last buck out of your wallet and your government who use pretence of terorism to aid them in their moneygrubbing quest.
And meanwhile your country is not the land of the free anymore but a coorperate run police state.

I tried BitLord in WINE and got an error message saying Microsoft XML parser 3.0 is required.

Yes although if you notice BitComet 0.60 has DHT and more features than BitLord 1.1.

Also it contains links to 2torrents (for which they seem 2 charge for the popluar torrents or wait in a 5day queue!) and some porno chat stuff.

All money making crap and adware in a sense so stick with BitComet 0.60 as its newer and without all the xxx stuff and doesnt forward u to the irritating 2torrents site along with new features.

BitLord looks exactly like a twin copy of BitComet. No idea why, but it is shocking when I first saw it.

Tips that oint me in that direction
1) the interface is identical
2) shortly after a new bitComet comes out, a new Bitlord comes out
3) bitLord identifys itself as “Bitcomet 1.1″

Perhaps you’re on the wrong site. Looks like you’re looking for a grammar and spelling web site. Why don’t you go and find one.
While you’re at it, why don’t you spell check the whole internet.
Maybe that will make you feel like a somebody.
You can really do some good by keeping busy spell checking the whole internet and I’m sure everyone here will be grateful to you for your diligent work.

p2pnet is about the only p2p site with current p2p news and a clear position. The others, like Zeropaid and Slyck, are cop-outs and half their *news* is nothing but reporting by press release, etc, including PR from the enemy, or cut-and-pastes.

The speeling here might not be perfect sometiems, but whoo cares? The cntent is here.
