It does not matter what laws are passed or what governments promise; the less affluent will be the ones paying the highest percentage of their income in taxes. Sure, tax rates are higher for the rich, but they purchase laws granting them many, many exemptions that the common man is not allowed to excercise.

That’s right, and Bono wants Canada to agree to pay 7% of its GDP to African nations suffering from 3rd world debt. Where does this money come from? Canadian taxpayers. Meanwhile he has been getting a tax break all this time.
