Grand Sex Auto gets AO rating

p2pnet.net News:- Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto: San Andrea has been taken out of the reach of youngsters, to the distress of its owner, Take-Two Interactive.

Its hidden explicit sex mod caused a major storm with parents and child protection groups, bringing it into the political sights of the likes of Hilary Clinton.

Now the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has been forced to label it AO for Adult Only rating, instead of M for Mature, under which it could be sold to people aged 17.

“The producer of the game, Rockstar Games, said it had ceased production of GTA and was manufacturing a version without the sexual content,” says USA Today.

“We’re pulling the game off the shelf until the new version comes,” Julius Chatmon, manager of a GameStop store in Alexandria, Virginia is quoted as saying. “We’re not allowed to sell it at all, not even to adults.”

Take-Two had denied it had anything to do with the cartoon sex mod.

But according to USA Today, an embarrassed ESRB president Patricia Vance says, “this mod was unlocking material that was already hidden on the game,” and not created by a third party.

“We were never informed that there were these kinds of scenes on the game, even if they were never intended to be discovered by players,” she says.

Sean Bersell of the Video Software Dealers Association says that video gamemakers often are compelled to “lock away” content that they feel will give the game an undesired rating, says the story, adding:

“But it’s a dangerous practice. If they put it on the game, someone is going to figure out how to find it.”

I think Bill’s infidelity has gone to hillary’s brain in the worst way.

what happened to “liberal” in this nation? liberal.. as in.. free and open to new ideas, choice, expression…

This kind of fiasco makes a mockery of both our constitution and the term “liberal”.

So a game openly featuring just about every kind of weapons-related crime is fine but just don’t be hiding any badly-animated sex in it? Make war, not love. ;)

On a positive note, this whole thing has demostrated to tens of millions of younger voters that Hilary Clinton is utterly clueless so we can’t say it’s been a total loss.

You know, I bet Rockstar parody Hilary, Bill and Monica in the next Grand Theft Auto game.
