As a concerned parent with a busy professional life, I don't have the time to actually sit down and see what my kids are watching or playing. I welcome the good people at this organization to provide me with a list of what they feel I should allow my children to buy or watch already provided for me.

Previously I had relied on the services of my local church to help me decide which games are and are not appropriate. They helped me steer my children away from Harry Potter material, which is dangerously close to the suicidal and morals-corrupting D&D cult.

However as a consumer I recognize that the church may not be selecting items for my children in their best interest. Leaving my marketing choices up to professionals already experienced in the industry to decide for me will free up more time to pursue my career goals and ensure my children are getting the proper care and attention.

Since I'm taking it that you are the same person who wrote the original post, then you are talking about yourself, not me, and it clearly shows that you *ARE* an idiot. I don't need some greedy corporate backstabber to tell me how to raise my kids, and I will not allow it, either. Which is what I was getting at. Since you even said that you approve of the concept, who is truly the idiot here?

Not me, definately you.

So get back under your bridge troll.

End of Conversation.

If you need an UNETHICAL organization like the MPAA/RIAA (aka promotors of "sex, drugs, and rock-&-roll") to "teach" your kids values, they I'm sorry but YOU are the TROLL! If YOU don't know how to raise your kids up properly, you have your priorities in the wrong places.

True idiot you are indeed!

As a concerned parent ...

You should be horrified by the ever-increasing incursions into your rights of privacy.

You should be indignant at the idea of some self-serving conglomeration of money-grubbers wanting to impose its ideas, concepts, and mentally aberrant self-righteousness upon you and your children - whether you like it or not.

You should be horrified by the implications this has for the rights which will be denied to your children in the not-too-distant future!

A concerned parent should take the time to become actively involved with his/her children, teaching them the concepts of ethics, using the sick machinations of the Hollywood cartels as examples of the abrogation of civil decency.

Tell me, if you had lived in Nazi Germnany in the 1930's, would you have applauded the concept of "Hitler Youth"?

As a concerned, patriotic American, I am filled with dread when I see and read of these things. The "Bill of Rights" is not just some old-fashioned, outdated after-thought to our Constitution! If those rights had not been guaranteed as Constitutional provisions, we would not be the United States of America, because most of the colonies would not had ratified the Constitution without them.

I would like to be able to say that those inalienable rights are being slowly eroded -- but slowly is not the applicable adverb, here.

Tell me you're joking. Please ...

Oh have you heard?! "They" stepped up their propaganda war but putting up a NEW EXECUTIVE (as in the USA Government) position for fighting IP "violations" by none other than CNN/Time Warner's CHRIS ISRAEL, yes Chris Israel!

WTF?!!! This shit is not letting up. It's only getting worse.

"Don't "fight" the media, "be" the media!" --- A famous quote from indymedia.

That means fight DIS-INFORMATION with actual true INFORMATION.

Oh goodie, is this as effective as the last one that would help parents search for mp3s on a computer and helpfully delete them for you?

Since its filtering was non-existant, it just as faithfully reported to the inquirer necessary sound files for the OS as it reported those dastardly mp3's. What it proved to me was in spite of all the foo-faw-raa over the RIAA demanding that p2ps use filters to remove their stuff, was that they had no clue how to pull it off either. Far easier to demand SOMEONE do it for you than it is to show how to do it.

The above mentioned program died a quick and quiet death. I would suspect that it had to do with the "parents" having no clue as to what files were needed to run the OS sounds and that the complaints following using the deletion tool were loud after those parents discovered that the sound in the OS didn't always work as it was supposed to after the files were removed.

Another dumb idea brought to you by the cartels...
