Microsoft Vista is not alone
p2pnet.net News- Aren`t `windows` and `vista` more or less publicly owned words?
Not if Bill and the Boyz can help it.
Their intentions are transparent. They want to own them both and Microsoft has just announced to the world that Longhorn will henceforth be known as Windows Vista with Beta 1 for developers and IT professionals slated for August 3.
But maybe not.
John W. Wall of SCO notoriety is just down the road from Microsoft in Redmond and he already owns a company called Vista which “operates a small business Internet Interchange” delivering “affordable web services to small business owners”.
Now Wall is, “considering all of its options” for a potential case against Microsoft, says TechWorld.
“Wall said the naming of Windows may violate a trademark his company has and potentially create confusion over the software and services Vista provides.”
OK.
And what about all the other Vistas such as Vista, Vista and Vista, three enterprises which immediately pop up when you do a search?
Stay tuned

The Company that goes by the name of VISTA… owns that name cause they had it a lot longer… I dont care what your fancy loyars say… you can’t own Windows or Vista, if that means your just gonna sue a company later for having that name…!!! they had it first!
and I hope they dont sell MS the name either
