The Internet can be used to transport information such as instant messaging, email, and other time sensitive information between local wide area networks while local wide area networks can be used to exchange information that is not government or cartel blessed. Mass storage is so incredibly inexpensive that it can be used to transport huge amounts of information between local wide area networks in incredibly short periods of time. A single data cd can hold approximately 144 different songs. Just imagine how many songs a DVDR can hold :-) These DVDR's can be encrypted and transported between local wide area networks via automobile, snail mail, Internet connection and even over a wireless link. 50 computers on a local wide area network can hold an incredibly huge amount of music, movies, documents, and other information. 1, 2, or even 3 computers could serve as exchange computers which would allow information to be traded with other computers or networks.
