Thanks to computers and different networks, we do have a choice. I can listen to cool music all day and not download or play a single RIAA sponsored song. Video is become entertaining as well. I believe that home made full featured films are just around the corner. I hear that the new movie Stealth was a real bomb. The cartels have finally run out of the last ounce of imagination. The only new movies I have seen so far are glorified reruns

So just how is a pirate downloader a “pains for the majority law abiding citizens”???? What impact does it have on them?

Don’t waste time on the “it increases prices” garbage either. Companies will quite happily accept any excuse to increase their prices all the while blaming somebody/thing/one else if at all possible. There’s no way a total end to all piracy would decrease prices. In fact prices would go up as soon as the companies realised we had no choice but to shell out for whatever it is they’re hocking.

This whole Harry the Pot Head is really BORING…. who gives a shit about a stupid children’s book that is written POORLY — come on folks, the story is nonsensical, “magic” this and “magic” that is NOT interesting, and the characters and ‘relationships’ are so one-dimensional to be irrelevant.

There’s so many other stuff out there. Many of which are free on the internet. Read the NEWS. Go outside and socialize. Play sports. Go to work. Whatever, do something productive and don’t be a sheeple.

With all of this DRM (now in Mac OSX kernel) and “IP rights” shit going on —- you don’t need it. I think of what RMS said… If it doesn’t respect my freedoms I don’t need it, and I won’t use it… This is especially true for NON-ESSENTIAL distractions!
