This I saw myself. It isn't something That was told me, or was it a quote of someone else. With that said, I was at the hospital Thursday for a surgery of a family member. We were in the waiting room, and all that was on the two T.V.'s was CNN. I do not like CNN for it's bias-ultra liberal view point, but I was just getting some stock quotes, when I began to read the tracker at the bottom of the main picture. This is how it read, and I quote "Americans fear Obama because he is a socialist. "The New Democracy" is Socialism." This ran for 10 times, then I walked off in disgust. Now if that ain't bias; I don't know what is. It is also very scarey. The Socialist-Communist elements in this country is about to come into power, and guess who is putting them there? WE ARE! C.Stafford

The media sources are finding out through surveys and the like that they are losing readership and viewers. That many whom are now connected to the net are finding out that those sources are seriously slanted and the viewers aren't truely getting unbias news, as is claimed. No longer thethered to the major sources, viewers now have the option of usually going to the source and seeing what was said without the aid of the major media and their twists. Once the twists and spins are exposed, the damage is done in that that viewer no longer trusts that media to provide what they seek; the untwisted truth.

With that being said, those with internet access aren't returning to major media, instead preferring to get it on their own. Since viewers and readership aren't returning, the media is being forced to both acknowledge that the internet is a threat to their survival and an alternative source. Since it is an alternative source, those that distribute news will now have to more carefully word their news so that the slant is buried a little farther into the rubbish that passes as news. If viewers won't come to major media, to continue to have a presence and grow, they must go to the viewer in hopes they can continue to attract viewership. Even here, it means loss of income in ads in the traditional manner. So income will have to come from elsewhere to augement the media's income. From those that I have see already on line, most of the major commercial newspapers are burying ads everywhere they can. One of the favorite tricks is to cue in the adservers names in the photos on the site. If you block the ads, in many cases you can block the photos. Hey, cool beans with me! I block them anyway and it more resembles a newspaper of old without photos. It is their hope that you valuable visual aids more than your info. In my case they gambled wrong.

I HATE ADS AND SPYWARE WITH A PASSION!
