New invasion of Europe

p2pnet.net News View:- As suspected, Europe is next on the Big Four record label hit list. But they aren’t doing it in person. They have their little brother (The International Federation of Phonographic Industries, IFPI) to handle it.

And here’s the thing:

Dutch legislation and the Dutch national privacy bureau have combined to make pursuing files swappers in Holland very easy.

Non-profit organizations such as Stichting Brein (sponsored by the likes of Microsoft) have been keeping taps on file swappers for quite a while now and their database of file swappers names has been found legal by the Dutch national privacy bureau.

The catch was that they shouldn’t be able to exchange the database with other organizations.

Now, let’s see what happens ……

what about ukraine? they have a huge number of piracy going on in there. you can even sell movies and music right on the street. i dont think the cartels would make ukraine do anything, since the country isnt extremely wealthy and most of the homes dont even have electricty or running water.

and even if the cartels right there is going to be a major backfire
